There is a renewed interest in the arts from a Christian point of view. What seemed to be forgotten, (except for Christmas or Easter), is now being rediscovered as a viable arm of outreach, communication, education, inspiration and entertainment that can be used throughout the year. Drama is an extention of creativity and we all know who is the originator of creativity. God thought it, spoke it and it became. We take what has already been created and shape it so it can be seen, felt or aborbed.
As someone who travels full time as a dramatist, writer and evangelist, it's become more and more evident that churches are serious about their drama. Churches are realizing that people respond to and perceive messages in a different way than say five or 10 years ago.
I'd love to hear from others who are moving in this direction and seeing similar things.
